Yes. You create and manage your own filing workspace, enter or add the required business and recipient information, review the forms, authorize submission, and track agency responses. You do not have to ask the Escochecks team to perform the filing for you.
E-File Center is a separate, standalone filing product. Escochex Payroll may be one source of year-end data, but no automatic Payroll connection or payroll subscription is required to use the E-File Center workflow.
Business owners and employers can file for their own organizations. Accountants and tax professionals can use a professional workspace to organize authorized client businesses and filing work.
E-File Center currently supports Form W-2, Form 1099-NEC, and Form 1099-MISC. Additional forms will be introduced only as they become available in the product.
W-2 filings follow the Social Security Administration filing path. Forms 1099-NEC and 1099-MISC follow the Internal Revenue Service filing path. State and local submission availability varies separately.
No. The filer can set up the business, recipients, and supported forms directly in E-File Center. If an import or transfer option is available for a particular source workflow, the product will show it; the website does not assume a Payroll connection.
